When and where can I sign up for the NEW Digi Smart Plan?
Starting from 18 March 2015, you will be able to sign up for the all new Digi Smart Plan at all Digi outlets, authorized dealers stores, and Digi Store Online.
Who can sign up for the new Digi Smart Plan?
All MASS individuals can sign up inclusive of new registrations, Mobile Number Portability (MNP), DG PrepaidTM to DG PostpaidTM conversion, and change of plan from a non-contractual plan.
Is the new Digi Smart Plan available for new customers only?
No, both new and existing Digi customers can sign up for this plan.
I am a foreigner. Can I subscribe to the new Digi Smart Plan and purchase a device from Digi?
Yes, you can. However, you need to pay an additional deposit of RM 500 on top of the upfront payment required.
I am currently on old DG Smart Plan. Can I switch over to the new Digi Smart Plan?
Yes, you can as long as you are not under any contract.
I am currently subscribed to another mobile operator. Can I switch over to Digi by subscribing to the new Digi Smart Plan?
Yes, you can.

How do I switch to this new Digi Smart Plan?

I am a DG Prepaid™ customer. Can I subscribe to the new Digi Smart Plan without changing my number?
Yes, you can switch from DG PrepaidTM to the new Digi Smart Plan without changing your number.
If I convert my DG Prepaid™ to the new Digi Smart Plan, will my prepaid credit be carried forward?
Yes, your prepaid credit (up to max RM 100) will be carried forward and used to cover your coming months’ bills.
Can I use my DG Prepaid™ credit to cover the Upfront Payment for the new Digi Smart Plan?
No, you can’t. However, your upfront payment together with the Prepaid credit that you have carried forward will be used to cover/pay for your coming months’ bills.

What happens when I exceed my monthly Mobile Internet Quota? Will I be charged for extra usage?
No, you will not be charged extra when you exceed your monthly Mobile Internet Quota. Your data service will be restricted until the next billing cycle. However, you may continue browsing via Opera Mini, or you can opt for Postpaid Internet Quota Top-Up to continue surfing the Internet at regular speed, subject to the relevant terms and conditions.
 
Can I tether via Digi Smart Plan on my smartphone (i.e. share my smartphone’s Digi Smart Plan internet connection with other wireless-enabled devices)?
Yes, you can tether at no extra charge. It will be considered a part of your Mobile Internet Quota.
How can I enjoy Free Facebook?
All sign ups on Digi Smart Plan 108 High Data, Digi Smart Plan 148 High Data and Digi Smart Plan 148 High Voice will be entitled to enjoy Free Facebook.
How can I enjoy Free Music Freedom?
All sign ups on Digi Smart Plan 78, Digi Smart Plan 108 and Digi Smart Plan 148, for both High Data and High Voice plans will be entitled to enjoy Free Music Freedom.
Can I use the new Digi Smart Plan to access the Internet when I am roaming? Will I be charged extra?
Yes, you can use the new Digi Smart Plan to access the Internet when you are roaming. You will be charged from RM32/day for unlimited Internet roaming when you roam with specific partners. For more information, please visit the Unlimited Internet Roaming page. 
Can I use the bundled minutes and SMS under the new Digi Smart Plan when I am roaming?
All minutes and SMS bundled under the new Digi Smart Plan are applicable for domestic usage only i.e. within Malaysia network. Any usage on Roaming will be charged on top of your monthly fee at per standard rates based on Pay-As-You-Use basis.
How does the ‘Unlimited Calls and SMS’ under Digi Smart Plan 108 High Voice and Digi Smart Plan 148 High Voice work?
Every day you get to enjoy Unlimited voice calls and SMS to both on-net and off-net numbers i.e. all mobile calls and SMS to Digi or other mobile operators including fixed lines (excludes video calls, special numbers and toll-free 1-300/1-800 number calls). The Unlimited calls and SMS are applicable for domestic usage only i.e. within Malaysia network. 
What are the roaming charges?
You are entitled to enjoy 50sen/min roaming call local at selected countries, if you roam with specific partners. For more information, please visit our Roaming Abroad section. 
Is the BlackBerry® Internet Service (BIS) or Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) included in my subscription when I sign up for the new DG SmartPlan?
No, you will need to add-on the BlackBerry® Internet Service (BIS) for RM10/month or Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) for RM20/month. However, this is optional.
If I subscribe to the new DG SmartPlan for my BlackBerry®, will I be able to access my work mail?
Yes, assuming that your company allows you access to your work mail outside the office. Please check with your company’s IT Team for further clarification.
What is the monthly usage quota of my BlackBerry® service?
The monthly usage quota of your BlackBerry® service follows the monthly Internet quota of your new Digi Smart Plan.
 
Can I sign up for the new Digi Smart Plan on a device bundle contract?
Yes. Device bundle contract will be offered with the new Digi Smart Plan 78, Digi Smart Plan 108 and Digi Smart Plan 148 for both High Data and High Voice plans.   
 
I have an existing HTC/Samsung/other smartphones. Can I subscribe to the new Digi Smart Plan?
Yes, you can. The new Digi Smart Plan is also available for plan-only sign up.
 
What is an upfront payment?
An upfront payment is required when you purchase a device bundle with a selected plan. No waiver is applicable and it will be returned to you in the form of rebates throughout your contract tenure. 
 
I want to purchase a new Digi Smart Plan device bundle. Do I have to make any upfront payment?
Yes, an upfront payment is applicable for the new Digi Smart Plan device bundle upon subscription. You will be required to make an Upfront Payment for your device along with a one-month monthly fee in order to sign up for the new Digi Smart Plan device bundle. 


 
 
Will I be tied to a contract if I sign up with the new Digi Smart Plan ?
You will be tied to 12 month or 24 months contract when you sign up the new Digi Smart Plan device bundle of your choice. If you sign up plan-only with no contract, you will not be tied to any contract. 
 
Will the credit/rebate over bill be used to pay off my monthly fee or my total usage?
It will cover your total monthly usage. 
 
Will there be a penalty if I terminate my contract before the end of my tenure?
Yes, you will incur pre-mature termination fee if you terminate your contract before the end of your tenure. The rates are as below in the table:

Eligible subscribers are only required to pay for the Digi Phone Price instead of the Total Upfront Payment. Device upfront payment is waived.  
 
Can I use credit card to pay for my device bundle, including the Advance Payment for the device and a one-month monthly fee for my new voice plan?
Yes, you can. 
 
Can I pay for my device bundle via Easy Payment Plan (EPP)?
Yes, you can as long as you sign up for Digi Smart Plan under 24 months contract. For more details, please refer to the Easy Payment Plan section. 
 
Can I switch to another Digi Smart Plan during my contract period?
No, you are not allowed to switch plans during your Digi Smart Plan contract period.
 
Can I sign up for friends and familyTM under the new Digi Smart Plan?
For all sign-ups on the new Digi Smart Plan, friends and familyTM is not applicable. 
 
Can I register for supplementary lines under the new Digi Smart Plan?
Yes, you can register up to maximum 6 supplementary lines under the new Digi Smart Plan. You can register your supplementary lines via DG Smart Family Plan or DG Family Postpaid.
 
If I switch to this new Digi Smart Plan from DG Smart Plan 78/108/148, will my calls and SMS to my supplementary lines still be free?
Yes, your calls and SMS to your supplementary lines will still be free.
 
Can I sign up for Itemized Billing with Digi Smart Plan?
Yes, you can sign up for Itemized Billing at RM 5/month. If you do not wish to receive a paper bill, you may subscribe to e-Billing via Digi OCS. There are no charges for e-Billing. 
 
Will I receive any rebate when I sign up for Auto-Billing?
Yes, you will receive a rebate of RM 5/month for the first SIX (6) months of subscription. 
 
Will I earn BonusLink points when I pay my monthly Digi Smart Plan payments?
BonusLink points will only be offered on monthly payments on Digi Smart Plan 148.

Yes, for as long as you stay on the plan, you will enjoy Free Music Freedom. Do not worry, as the validity date will be refreshed again after 90 days. You will not be charged and you will get to continue to enjoy Music Freedom for free!

No. All unused Internet quota under Internet Top Up cannot be carried forward nor transferred. Your unused Internet quota may be forfeited at the end of the validity period.
How many Internet Top Ups can I purchase in a month?
You may purchase as many Internet Top Ups as you want in a month. However, please note that you may hit your monthly credit limit, and that any unused Internet quota will be forfeited at the end of the billing cycle.
How do I check the balance of my Internet quota?
To check your Internet quota balance, simply dial *200# or visit digi.my/topup or log on to the Digi Online Customer Service (Digi OCS) portal.
How long will it take for my Internet Top Up to be activated?
Upon successful purchase, it may take up to 10 minutes for your Internet Top Up to be activated.
I would like to purchase an Internet Top Up, but I have reached my monthly credit limit. What should I do?
You should settle your outstanding bills before you purchase an Internet Top Up.
I have not exhausted my allocated monthly Internet quota, but I have purchased an Internet Top Up. Which quota will be consumed first?
Your Internet Top Up quota will be consumed first. After that, the balance of your allocated monthly Internet quota will be consumed.
Can I use Internet Top Up while roaming?
No, you cannot use Internet Top Up while roaming.
