All Digi Prepaid™ and Digi Postpaid™ customers3 between the ages of 18 and 75 years are eligible to sign up for this plan. No medical examinations are required and no health questions will be asked.

How to Submit A Claim

In the event of loss, a written notice of claim should be given to AIG within thirty (30) days from the date of incident.
  1. Step 1

    Fill in the Personal Accident Claim Form and make sure that you have the following documents to support your claim(s):
     
    • Original medical receipt(s) and doctor’s diagnosis, if the incident is medical-related
    • Police report of the incident which lead to loss (lodged within 24 hours)
  2. Step 2

    Contact our insurers at AIG by calling 1800 88 8811 or by sending an email to AIGMYCare@aig.com for more information on how to proceed.

  • 1Income Protection & Settlement of Outstanding Digi Phone Bill will only be provided in the event of accidental death or permanent disablement due to an accident.
  • 2Snatch Theft Compensation will only be provided for up to one (1) incident per twelve (12) month period.
  • 3No minimum tenureship with Digi is required.
  • The insured person and his beneficiaries are not deemed to be sanctioned individuals based on the Terms & Conditions of this policy.
  • Please refer to the Terms & Conditions of the Master Policy for full cover details.
  • Please note that your cover will automatically be renewed every thirty (30) days upon expiry. You can stop the renewal by cancelling your policy before it expires.
  • If a family plan is purchased, the insured spouse is covered for up to 100% and each child is covered for 20% of the amount specified in the schedule of benefit.

DiGi Personal Accident Plan

1. How can I enrol for the Digi Personal Accident Plan?

Unfortunately you cannot enroll for the Digi Personal Accident Plan anymore as we will discontinue the service starting from 30 September 2016.

2. I am the existing subscriber for the Digi Personal Accident plan. Do I need to unsubscribe from the service?

No. The plan will be auto renewed for the last time in September 2016 and the coverage period will end in October 2016 (30 days from the last renewal date).

3. What will happen after the discontinuation of service?

You are no longer covered by Digi Personal Accident Plan upon end of service. However, you can always look for other insurance solution from other insurance company in the market which suits your needs the best.

4. How do I make a claim?

It is important that you provide details of the claim's event, together with documented proof (such as a police report) to AIG as soon as possible, no longer than thirty (30) days from date of loss.

5. Can I stop my Digi Personal Accident Plan immediately?

Yes, please contact AIG Malaysia at 1800 88 8811. However, please take note that the paid premium is not refundable.
