Give Prepaid credit to a Digi Prepaid user!
  1. Step 1

    Dial *128# from your Digi mobile, then select My Account. From the menu, select Talktime Services™.
  2. Step 2

    Reply 1 to select Talktime Transfer™, and then choose a transfer option. Key in the Digi mobile number you wish to send Prepaid credit to and select CALL/SEND.
     
    You will receive a confirmation text message upon successful transaction2.

Talktime Transfer™

1. What is Talktime Transfer™?

Talktime Transfer™ is a service that allows customers with tenure more than 3 months and above to transfer talktime credit from one Prepaid account to another.
 
Note: Only selected rate plans can perform Talktime Transfer. Eg Digi Smart Prepaid is not allowed to perform Talktime Transfer service.

2. How can I use Talktime Transfer™ to transfer credit?

You can use Talktime Transfer™ to transfer credit from your Digi Prepaid™ account to another Digi Prepaid™ account using your mobile phone via *128#.

3. Can I use Talktime Transfer™ to transfer credit to a non-Digi Prepaid account?

No. Talktime Transfer™ can only be used to make credit transfers to Digi Prepaid™ accounts. You cannot make credit transfers to non-Digi Prepaid accounts.

4. Can I use Talktime Transfer™ to transfer or receive credit when I am roaming?

Yes. As long as you are roaming with a Digi Prepaid™ roaming partner and have access to *128#, you can use Talktime Transfer™ to transfer or receive credit.

5. Can I use Talktime Transfer™ more than once per day?

Yes, you can use Talktime Transfer™ more than once per day as long as you have not exceeded the monthly limit of RM100.

6. Will I be charged for using this service?

Yes. A service charge of 50sen will apply to the person transferring the credit (on top of the amount of talktime credit being transferred). The person receiving the talktime credit will be charged 25sen.

7. Why I can’t view all the denominations of Talktime Transfer in the UMB menu?

The system will only display the available Talktime Transfer denomination (Talktime Transfer deno +Surcharge) based on your available Main Balance amount.

8. My account has been barred. What will happen if I receive a Talktime Transfer™?

If your account has been barred and you receive a Talktime Transfer™, you account will be reactivated.

The duration your account remains active will depend on how much credit is transferred into your account.

9. My account is active, but I've run out of credit. What will happen if I receive a Talktime Transfer™?

If your account is active when you receive a Talktime Transfer™, it will remain active until your original reload requirement date.

Example:
Your account has a remaining validity period of ten (10) days. You receive a Talktime Transfer™ of RM3. The credit received will be valid for ten (10) days instead of two (2) days.

Talktime Request

Talktime Request

1. What is Talktime Request?

Talktime Request is a service that allows Digi® Best Prepaid subscribers to request for a Talktime Transfer™ or call back from another Digi subscriber.

2. Is Talktime Request available to all Digi customers?

Talktime Request is currently available to Digi® Best Prepaid subscribers only. If you are a Digi® Best Prepaid subscriber, you can send a Talktime Request to any Digi Prepaid™ or  Digi Postpaid™ subscriber.

3. Do I have to register for Talktime Request to use this service?

No, you do not have to register for Talktime Request to use this service.

4. Is there a monthly charge for using Talktime Request?

No, there's no monthly charge for using Talktime Request.

5. Will I be charged for using Talktime Request?

No. There is no charge for using Talktime Request via UMB.
 
However, if a Talktime Transfer™ is performed, a service charge of 50sen will apply to the person transferring the credit (on top of the amount of talktime credit being transferred). The person receiving the talktime credit will be charged 25sen.

6. What is the minimum balance required in my Prepaid account if I want to perform a Talktime Request?

There's no minimum balance required.

7. Can I make a Talktime Request to a Digi number that has been blocked or barred?

No, you can't.

8. Can I perform a Talktime Request if I am roaming?

Yes. As long as you are roaming with a Digi Prepaid™ roaming partner and have access to the *128# Quick Menu, you can perform a Talktime Request.

9. Can I send Talktime Requests to subscribers on other networks?

No. You can only send Talktime Requests to Digi subscribers.

10. How much credit can I ask for via each Talktime Request?

You can request for a Talktime Transfer™ of RM3, RM5, RM15 and RM25. You can also request for the person you are trying to reach to call you back.

11. How many Talktime Requests can I make in a day?

You can make up to three (3) Talktime Requests in a day.

12. Can I send a Talktime Request to a person whose phone has been turned off?

No. In order to perform a Talktime Request, the person you are trying to reach must have their phone turned on and be within the Digi coverage area.

13. I received a Talktime Request from a friend asking for RM5. Can I transfer RM3 instead?

Yes, you can.

14. I received a request from a friend asking me to call him/her back. Can I ignore the request?

Yes, you can.

15. Can I send a Talktime Request if my Prepaid account has been deactivated/barred?

No, your Prepaid account must be in active or restricted status in order for you to send a Talktime Request.

Talktime Advance™

Talktime Advance™

1. What is Talktime Advance™?

Talktime Advance™ is a service that allows Digi Prepaid™ customers to borrow talktime credit from Digi.
 
Note: Talktime Advance™ is available to all Digi Prepaid™ customers with a tenure of two (2) months or more.

2. Can I use Talktime Advance™ if I have absolutely no credit (RM0.00) in my Prepaid account?

No. Your Prepaid account balance must be within RM0.00 to RM3.00 if you want to use Talktime Advance™.

3. How long do I have to be with Digi before I can use Talktime Advance™?

You have to be a Digi Prepaid™ customer for more than two (2) months before you can use Talktime Advance™.

4. How many times can I use Talktime Advance™?

Talktime Advance™ is only available once between each reload.

5. Can I pay for the credit that I have borrowed via Talktime Advance™ using the bonus credit I received from Digi (e.g. Birthday Bonus™ or Reload Bonus™)?

No, you can't. You will have to reload your Prepaid account to pay for the credit that you have borrowed.

6. A friend transferred credit to me via Talktime Transfer™. Can I use it to pay for the credit I borrowed via Talktime Advance™?

Yes you can.

7. Is there a monthly charge for using Talktime Advance™?

No, there is no monthly charge for using Talktime Advance™. However, 60sen will be deducted from your Prepaid account for every successful transaction made using Talktime Advance™.

8. How will I know if I have successfully borrowed credit via Talktime Advance™?

Please use the *128# Quick Menu to check your Talktime Advance™ status.

Talktime Transfer™ International

Talktime Transfer™ International

1. What is Talktime Transfer™ International?

Talktime Transfer™ International allows you to give Prepaid credit to other Prepaid Mobile network operators overseas (selected networks only)
 
Note: Only selected rate plans can perform Talktime Transfer. Eg Digi Smart Prepaid is not allowed to perform Talktime Transfer International service.

2. What is the minimum balance required in my Prepaid account if I want to transfer credit via Talktime Transfer™ International?

You can transfer credit via Talktime Transfer™ International as long as you have enough credit to cover the amount that you wish to transfer.

3. How much credit can I transfer?

You can transfer up to RM200 each month.

4. How much will I be charged for every transfer I make via Talktime Transfer™ International?

Nothing. Only the amount that you wish to transfer will be deducted from your account. There are no other surcharges for credit transfers made via Talktime Transfer™ International.

5. Will the person I'm transferring credit to receive the transfer in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) or in the currency of the country that they are in?

The credit that you send them will be converted to the local currency of the country that they are in.
 
Example:
You transfer RM7 to a friend in Indonesia. He/she will receive Rp10,000 of credit.

6. How will I know if the transfer I made via Talktime Transfer™ International was successful?

You will receive a confirmation SMS once the credit you are transferring is received by the person you are sending it to. The SMS will display the credit deducted from your account (in RM) and the amount of credit received by the person you sent the credit to (in foreign currency).

7. How will the person I'm sending credit to know when the transfer has been successfully made?

He/she will receive an SMS notification detailing how much credit (in foreign currency ) was transferred and which Digi Prepaid™ mobile number the credit was sent from.

8. Who can I contact for more information on this service?

You may SMS TN HELP or TN BANTU to 2000 at no charge or contact Digi Customer Service at +6016 221 1800.

9. Can I choose to transfer a different amount of credit apart from the denominations listed under Talktime Transfer™ International?

No. You can only choose from one of the Talktime Transfer™ International denominations offered by Digi.
