Freedom Combo

1. What is Freedom Combo?

Freedom Combo is a combination pass for data streaming and Premium access to either Viu or iflix, at only RM5 per month! Freedom 2 Viu comes with Premium access (with ads) to Viu and data valid for streaming on Viu only, while Freedom 2 iflix comes with Premium access and data valid for streaming on iflix only.

2. When can I start subscribing to Freedom Combo?

Freedom 2 Viu is available for subscription from 21 June 2017 and Freedom 2 iflix is available from 1 August 2017. The combo pass for tonton premium access subscription will be available at a later date, so stay tuned!

3. Who can subscribe to this awesome Freedom Combo?

All Postpaid customers with a bundled mobile Internet subscription are eligible! Meanwhile, Prepaid users can also subscribe if they are on any of the below Internet plans:

All eligible customers will get 5GB data valid for streaming on either Viu, iflix or tonton only, depending on the Combo you purchase. Streaming on any other services apart from the Combo that you have purchased will result in your base Internet being deducted.

5. Where can I purchase this Combo?

You can subscribe via the Digi Freedom website. Subscriptions via MyDigi will be available at a later date.

6. If I am currently subscribed to the normal RM10 per month Viu or iflix subscription, can I still enjoy this?

Yes! Just unsubscribe from your old subscription via Viu/iflix web/app and subscribe to the Freedom Combo of your choice via our Digi Freedom website.

7. How I can check my data usage for this combo?

You may check your balance quota and expiry via MyDigi.

8. What happens if my 5GB data for this offer has been used up?

Streaming will result in quota being deducted from your Internet plan.

9. Will my combo be terminated automatically at the end of the 30 days?

This combo is on an auto renewal basis! This means that your combo will be renewed automatically after it has ended at 11.59PM at the end of its validity period. For Digi Prepaid customers, please ensure that you have sufficient credit for auto renewal.

10. Will I be notified before this combo is renewed?

Yes, you will receive an SMS notification two (2) days before your combo is renewed.

11. I have a balance credit of RM6 in my Prepaid account which is enough to renew this combo at RM5. Why am I still receiving notifications that my renewal for this combo has failed?

In order to renew this combo, please ensure you are subscribed to an active Internet plan from the list in Question 3 above.

12. I am terminating my Internet plan before it expires. After termination, can I continue to enjoy Freedom Combo?

No, you must have an active Internet plan (refer Question 3) to enjoy the 5GB allocated within the Freedom Combos.

13. Can I use the data from this Combo when I roam with Digi?

No, you will not be able to use the data allocated from this Combo while you are roaming.

Freedom 2 Viu

14. How do I unsubscribe from Freedom 2 Viu?

We are sad to hear you want to let go of this great combo, but alright – you may unsubscribe via the Viu app or website. On your mobile phone, turn off WIFI and turn on mobile data. Go to viu.com from any browser, open the sidebar menu and click on “My Plan”. Select “Cancel Membership” or “Unsubscribe” and then confirm.

15. I want to terminate my combo before it expires. After termination, can I continue to enjoy Viu premium access until the end of its validity?

Yes, you can continue to enjoy Viu premium access and the 5GB data allocated until the end of its 30-day validity.

All Digi Postpaid and Prepaid customers can purchase either one of the Digi Video Freedom passes – RM1/hour or RM5/day!

3. How do I purchase Digi Video Freedom?

Eligible Digi customers can purchase Digi Video Freedom via MyDigi.

4. What are the video apps that I can enjoy with Digi Video Freedom?

You can enjoy streaming up to 14 video apps, including YouTube, iflix, Viu, tonton, Astro Go, Netflix, Twitch and more! You can see the full list of our partners on digi.my/videofreedom. More apps will be added soon, stay tuned!

5. What are the passes available for Digi Video Freedom?

There are 2 choices for both Postpaid and Prepaid customers:
Postpaid customers:
  • RM1 for Hourly Pass - valid for 1 hour and up to 3GB of usage
  • RM5 for Daily Pass - valid for 24 hours and up to 10GB of usage
Prepaid customers:
  • RM1 for Unlimited Video Freedom – Lite (512kbps), valid for 24 hours
  • RM5 for 10GB Video Freedom – High Speed, valid for 24 hours

6. Will these passes be auto-renewed at the end of the validity period?

No, these are one-time passes and will not be auto-renewed. If you would like to enjoy more streaming hours, you may re-purchase via MyDigi!

7. How many times can I purchase to Digi Video Freedom?

As many as you like! However, if you purchase a combination of RM1 for Unlimited Video Freedom – Lite and RM5 for 10GB Video Freedom – High Speed passes, you will need to wait until the validity for RM1 for Unlimited Video Freedom – Lite expires, before you can enjoy the RM5 for 10GB Video Freedom – High Speed pass.

8. Can I use this Digi Video Freedom pass to surf the Internet?

No. Internet usage outside our partner video apps will not be covered under the Digi Video Freedom pass i.e. it will deduct from your Internet quota.

9. How I can check my data usage for Digi Video Freedom?

You may check your balance quota and expiry date via MyDigi.

10. Will I be notified if my Digi Video Freedom usage or validity is expiring?

You will be notified via SMS if your Digi Video Freedom usage or validity is about to expire and when it has expired.

11. What happens if I purchase Digi Video Freedom and I change my Digi plan?

If you change your Digi plan while your Digi Video Freedom pass is still valid, your Digi Video Freedom pass will be forfeited.
 
Digi Music Freedom

1. What is Digi Music Freedom?

Digi Music Freedom is an Internet Pass that allows you to stream music from your favourite music streaming apps without Internet charges. This means that music streaming usage will NOT deduct your Internet quota.

2. Who can enjoy Digi Music Freedom?

All Digi customers with an active Internet plan and a minimum tenure of 6 months with Digi can enjoy Digi Music Freedom for FREE.

3. How do I activate Digi Music Freedom?

Eligible Digi customers can activate Digi Music Freedom for FREE via MyDigi.

4. What are the music apps that I can enjoy with Digi Music Freedom?

You can enjoy streaming up to 30 music apps, including Spotify, JOOX, Smule, Hitz FM, ERA FM and more! You can see the full list of our partners on digi.my/musicfreedom. We are continuously working to include great music apps into our Digi Music Freedom family. Stay tuned for more updates!

5. How much quota do I get with Digi Music Freedom?

Digi Music Freedom users can stream from any of our partner music streaming apps up to 5GB quota for FREE every 30 days.

6. How many times can I activate Digi Music Freedom?

You need to activate once every 30 days on the MyDigi app.

7. What happens if I run out of quota before 30 days?

Usage on partner music streaming apps will consume your Internet quota. Digi Postpaid and Prepaid customers will have options to purchase additional Internet quota from MyDigi – please refer to the Digi Postpaid and Digi Prepaid product pages for more details.

8. How can I check my data usage for Digi Music Freedom?

You may check your balance quota and expiry date via MyDigi.

9. Will I be notified if my Digi Music Freedom usage or validity is expiring?

You will be notified via SMS if your Digi Music Freedom usage or validity is about to expire and when it has expired. Once it has expired, you can re-active your Digi Music Freedom on MyDigi.
 
Steam Wallet Code service by Digi Direct Billing

1. What is Steam Wallet Code?

Steam Wallet is an e-wallet which is associated to Steam (www.steampowered.com) gaming platform by Valve Corporation. Users of Steam gaming platform will need to have funds added to Steam Wallet to purchase digital content. Users can also use other payment method like credit card.

2. What do I need to have to purchase Steam Wallet Code through Digi?

You need to key in your Digi mobile number and wait for the SMS confirmation. Reply the SMS with unique code to confirm the purchase.

3. How does Digi Steam Wallet Code service work?

You need to have an active Digi mobile Prepaid or Postpaid number with SMS capability in order to purchase Steam Wallet Code. The amount will be charged to your Postpaid bill, or deduct from your Prepaid balance. The Steam Wallet Code of your purchases will be delivered to you through SMS.

4. I have made a purchase, the balance got deducted, but I did not receive any SMS. What should I do?

Contact Digi and upon verification, the code will be resend to you right away.

5. I have made a purchase but the denomination is not what I have requested for. What should I do?

Contact Digi and our CS personnel will verify your purchases and perform compensation if the amount and denomination does not tally.

6. Is Steam Wallet Code subject to GST?

Yes, Steam Wallet Code is subjected to GST.

7. I am not a Digi user, can I use this service?

Unfortunately, this service is only meant for Digi subscribers. We are working to serve the gaming needs of all Malaysians in the coming future.

8. I have made a purchase, and I received the code through SMS. However, when I redeem it at Steam, it says the code has been redeemed. What should I do?

Contact Digi and our CS personnel will check the activation date of the code. If the activation of the code is before user’s purchase, a one-to-one replacement will be done and new code will be sent through SMS.

9. Is there a purchase limit for this service?

Yes, each Digi mobile number can purchase up to RM300 worth of Steam Wallet Code per 30 days.

10. How will the charges be reflected for Prepaid and Postpaid?

The purchase will be displayed as “Steam Wallet Code” in your Postpaid/Prepaid statement.
 
Digi Games Top Up

1. What is the service about?

You are now able to use the Digi reload cards to top up your favourite online game points. Both Digi physical card and soft-pin purchased through e-pay terminal are usable.

2. Is there a specific Digi reload card just for this service?

No. Regular Digi reload card valued RM5 and above can be used for this service.

3. Do I have to be a Digi customer to use this to top up games?

No you don’t. Anyone can use this service.

4. Does it have to be card? How about slip which is printed from terminals in convenience store like 7 Eleven & MyNews?

Both Digi card and slip printed from terminals can be used.

5. Can I use half of the Digi reload card value for this service and the other half for my Digi Prepaid airtime?

No you can’t. You can only choose either to reload for airtime or games credits.

6. Do I need to register different Digi Games Top Up accounts for different online game publishers?

No you don’t. You may use the same account for all.

7. Is there a maximum amount that I can top up a day?

Yes there is. The maximum is a total of RM1500/day worth of game points top up.

8. Are all online game publishers having this top up option?

We aim to have this option available for all online game publishers not too far in the future but for the time being, only Garena is available.
League of Legends Premium Skin Promo

1. Who is eligible for this promo?

To be eligible, all you need to do is be the first 1,000 customers who top up RM100 on Garena (http://pay.garena.my) via Digi Prepaid Reload Card between 1 July to 15 August 2017. Existing accounts with Star Guardian Jinx skins are not eligible for this promo.

2. I have reloaded RM100 through Digi Prepaid Reload Card, how do I get the Premium Star Guardian Jinx skin for League of Legends?

We will get in touch with you and you will then need to provide us with your League of Legends account. The skin will be automatically credited to your account by 21 August 2017. Garena UID account holders without a League of Legends account will have to create an account and contact Garena Customer Service via www.garena.my/support/email/ in order to receive the Star Guardian Jinx skin.
Digi Direct Billing for App Store, Apple Music & iTunes

GENERAL

1. What is this service about?

Direct Billing enables you to make purchases on any Apple platform and pay for it through your Digi monthly bill or prepaid balance.

2. What types of digital content can I purchase using carrier billing as a payment method?

At present, you can make purchases from the App Store, iTunes Store, subscribe to Apple Music, and buy iCloud storage etc.

3. How do I sign up for this service?

You will need to set up an Apple ID before using this service. Once you have an Apple ID, you will be able to select Mobile Phone billing the App Store, Apple Music, iTunes or in your Account Settings in your iPhone Settings.

PAYMENT & PURCHASES

4. I have made a purchase on the App Store. Where can I see it in my bill?

The charges will be listed in the Mobile Services section as iTunes or Apple Media

5. Is there a maximum amount of purchases that can be charged to my Digi bill?

There is no spend limit on Digi Prepaid.
Digi Postpaid users will have a cap of RM500 for every rolling 30 days from the first transaction.

6. I have set up carrier billing for my Apple ID. Does this mean that all my other Apple devices that are logged in to the same Apple ID will charge purchases to my Digi bill?

Yes, carrier billing will be set as the default payment mode if you are using the same Apple ID on different Apple devices. Do note that for verification purposes, a One-time-password will be sent to you before any purchase is made.

7. I have multiple Apple devices logged in to the same Apple ID. Can I selectively disable iTunes DCB for specific devices?

No, you will not be able to selectively disable carrier billing for specific Apple devices as payment information is tagged to your Apple ID.

8. Will I be able to charge my purchases to another Digi mobile number using the same Apple ID?

Yes, simply follow the steps below to charge your purchases to another Digi mobile number:
  • Visit http://apple.co/digi
  • Select ‘Mobile Phone’ and then ‘Use Different Mobile Number’.
  • Enter the mobile number you wish to charge your purchases to.
  • Fill in the Account information and click ‘Next’. A verification code will be sent to you.
  • Once the code has been verified, you will be returned to the Account screen.
  • Select ‘Done’ and you are now ready to make purchases!

9. What happens if I change my mobile number? Will I need to set up carrier billing again?

Yes, you will need to set up carrier billing again.

10. Do I need internet access to use carrier billing?

Yes. In order to use carrier billing, you must be connected to the Internet via mobile data or WiFi.

Yes. Data charges are applicable when browsing the marketplace and when downloading applications. Kindly note that if you were to use this service while abroad, data roaming charges will apply.
