  • Enjoy 60 minutes of Roaming Voice and 5GB of Internet Roaming quota when you subscribe to Roam Like Home Monthly.
  • Roam Like Home Monthly are applicable for roaming usage in 8 countries within participating network (Service use with other network will be charge as per standard rates on top of the monthly fee) i.e. Brunei DST, China China Mobile CMCC, Hong Kong 3 Hutchison, Indonesia Indosat, Myanmar Telenor (TNM), Singapore StarHub, Taiwan Chunghwa and Thailand Dtac/DTN TriNet).
  • Roam Like Home Monthly service includes Roaming Voice Call (minutes) and Internet Roaming only.
  • 60 minutes of Roaming voice calls are applicable for Roaming Voice call between Digi to Malaysia number (Roaming Call Home) as well as Digi to respective visiting country number (Roaming Call Local to the country that you are visiting). Digi to other International number (Roaming Call IDD) will be charge at standard rates on top of the monthly fee. Receiving call when you are in the participating network is also including into the voice minutes.
  • 5GB of Internet Roaming quota is applicable for internet usage use in the 8 countries within the participating network (i.e. Brunei DST, China China Mobile CMCC, Hong Kong 3 Hutchison, Indonesia Indosat, Myanmar Telenor (TNM), Singapore StarHub, Taiwan Chunghwa and Thailand Dtac/DTN TriNet). Any internet usage use with other network may be restricted and will be charge as standard rate on top on the monthly fee.
  • Subsequent usage after the Roam Like Home Monthly balance will be charged at standard rate on top on the monthly fee.
  • Subscriber may opt to purchase Roaming Top Up to continue surfing the internet at regular price.
  • Any Roaming Top Up (such as Roam10) purchased within the Roam Like Home Monthly , the Roaming Top Up’s validity and quota will take priority to consume, Roam Like Home Monthly will automatically resume only once Roaming Top Up expires.
  • All other roaming usage such as Roaming SMS, Roaming MMS are chargeable at standard rates on top of the monthly fee.
  • All Roam Like Home Monthly subscribed shall be valid for usages in participating roaming country and network.
  • Roam Like Home Monthly monthly minutes and quota is only valid within the bill cycle month, after the subscription time.
  • Monthly standard fees is charged for any Roam Like Home Monthly subscription, pro rated of monthly fee is not applicable if subscription /un subscription is made any date within a bill cycle.

RoamBorder will no longer offer effective from 12:00am 16th Jan 2017.
 

5. What happen to the existing customers who are already subscribed to RoamBorder before 16th Jan 2017?

Existing customer who subscribed to RoamBorder before 16th Jan 2017 will be automatically be subscribed to Roam Like Home Monthly and RoamBorder will no longer be available from 16th Jan 2017 onwards. Existing customers will now enjoy roaming in more countries i.e. China, Hong Kong and Taiwan under Roam Like Home Monthly. The original monthly discount that was offered under the RoamBorder will be still valid for existing customers under the Roam Like Home Monthly till December 2017 if there is no un subscription from 16th Jan 2017 onwards. Any subscription or re subscription of the Roam Like Home Monthly after 16th Jan 2017 will be subject to the applicable discount under this Roam Like Home Monthly.
 

6. What is the validity of Roam Like Home Monthly?

Roam Like Home Monthly is a monthly recurring package and it is automatically renewed by bill cycle of your Postpaid Plan. The standard validity of Roam Like Home Monthly is from start date 00:00am till end date 23:59pm of your bill cycle, Malaysia time. If the subscription is done anytime within the bill cycle, the validity of Roam Like Home Monthly will be starts from the time of subscription.
 

7. What can I use Roam Like Home Monthly for?

Roam Like Home Monthly is valid only for Roaming Voice Calls and Internet roaming (usage within the participating roaming country and network).
 

8. What usage does not Roam Like Home Monthly cover?

Roam Like Home Monthly does not cover following usages:
  • Roaming voice calls to any other International destinations numbers besides Malaysia or the country that you are visiting.
  • Roaming voice calls to premium or satellite numbers.
  • Voicemail calls / retrieval when roaming.
  • Sending and Receiving SMS when roaming.
  • Sending and Receiving MMS when roaming.
 

9. With Roam Like Home Monthly, and I am in Singapore, will there be any charge if I make voice call to any Malaysia number?

No, with Roam Like Home Monthly you are calling Malaysia number from the participating countries and network, there will be no voice charge as long as you still have sufficient voice minutes balance from your Roam Like Home Monthly.
 

10. What does Roaming Voice calls to visited participating country numbers (Call Local) means?

This simply means that you are making voice call to the number of the country that you are visiting. For example, you are in Singapore and make call to Singapore number or, you are in Thailand and make calls to Thailand number.
 

11. If I am in Singapore and making call to any of the Roam Like Home Monthly participating countries number, are these included into the Roam Like Home Monthly offer?

Roam Like Home Monthly covers Roaming voice call to a visiting participating country number. For example, if you are in Singapore and making voice call to Singapore number, it will deduct your Roam Like Home Monthly voice minute. However, if you are making voice call to any other participating countries such as Myanmar or Thailand from Singapore, the Roam Like Home Monthly will not apply and standard roaming charge will be applicable.
 
 

12. How much does Roam Like Home Monthly cost and how much quota is included in the Roam Like Home Monthly quota?

The Roam Like Home Monthly is now available at RM30. Roam Like Home Monthly is bundled with 60 Voice minutes + 5GB full speed internet roaming. Kindly note that, upon subscription to Roam Like Home Monthly , the monthly subscription fee will be billed in your monthly bill cycle regardless whether you roam in the participating country.
 

13. How much does Roam Like Home Monthly cost if I subscribe any time within the bill cycle?

Standard price of monthly RM30 is charged for Roam Like Home Monthly at any time of subscription, there is no pro ration of charging. However, you will be getting full 5GB of internet roaming and 60 minutes of voice upon subscription which is valid for the remaining of the bill cycle period.
 

14. Is there any discount for Roam Like Home Monthly subscription?

Subscribe Roam Like Home Monthly and you will enjoy monthly discount which apply till Dec 2017:
  • Digi Postpaid plan / Biz SmartFree (RM80 above) – monthly RM30 discount
  • Digi Postpaid plan / Biz SmartFree (RM70 to RM80) – monthly RM20 discount
  • Digi Postpaid plan / Biz SmartFree (RM70 below) – standard price apply
Note: The monthly discount is applicable only if Roam Like Home Monthly subscription is active since subscription day. Any cancellation of subscription of the Roam Like Home Monthly at any point of time will stop the discount.
 

15. Do I need to pay GST for Roam Like Home Monthly?

No. GST is exempted for Roam Like Home Monthly.

No, you only need to subscribe once to enjoy Roam Like Home Monthly in these 8 participating countries and networks.
You are allow to use Roam Like Home Monthly (5GB and 60mins) anytime at participating countries and networks.

20. Can I use Roam Like Home Monthly in different countries within the same day?

As long as your Roam Like Home Monthly and line status is “Active”, you may use Roam Like Home Monthly in the participating countries and networks within the Roam Like Home Monthly validity.

21. Do I earn a new quota and voice minutes when I travel to another Roam Like Home Monthly participating country?

No. Roam Like Home Monthly subscription will enable you 5GB and 60mins on monthly basis, you may use it anytime when you roam in the participating courtiers and networks.

22. Can I use the Roam Like Home Monthly in Malaysia?

Roam Like Home Monthly is valid when you are roaming in selected participating country and network. Your domestic usages and quota will be charged and consumed from your domestic plan.

23. Will my Roam Like Home Monthly’s voice and Internet quota be depleted for usages in Malaysia?

No. Any domestic usage will be consumed from your domestic plan quota. Roam Like Home Monthly quota will be consumed only for usages within quota and within participating countries and network.

24. I am a port-in or Pre to Post subscriber, can I enjoy the monthly discount?

As long as you are signed up on an eligible rate plan, you will be able to enjoy the monthly discount.

25. I would like to enjoy the monthly discount on Roam Like Home Monthly but I have been informed I don’t belong to an eligible rate plan. What can I do?

You may opt to have change of plan to the eligible rate plan to enjoy the monthly discount. Please note penalty fees may be imposed if you perform a pre-mature contract termination.

26. How do I subscribe to Roam Like Home Monthly?

You can approach any Digi outlets, authorized dealer stores or call in Digi Customer Service Helpline at 016-2211800 and request for Roam Like Home Monthly activation before you travel.
If you are a new sign up subscriber with Digi of a tenure less than 6 months, a copy of your NRIC and Passport is required for International Roaming activation. Your Roam Like Home Monthly will then be activated immediately and you can start enjoy the Roam Like Home Monthly once you land in the applicable participating country. Just enable data roaming on your handset with the applicable participating network selected.

27. I am already subscribed to Roam Like Home Monthly, can I still purchase any other Roaming Top Up offers such as Roam10?

Yes, with your Roam Like Home Monthly, you may still purchase Roaming Top Up. Please note that the Roaming Top Up’s validity and quota will supersede your Roam Like Home Monthly subscription. Your Roam Like Home Monthly subscription will automatically resume once your Roaming Top Up expires.

Alternatively, you may purchase any Roaming Top Up to continue enjoying Roaming voice calls and Internet roaming.

30. Can I unsubscribe from Roam Like Home Monthly? What will happen to my balance voice minutes and internet quota?

You can walk into any Digi outlets or approach any authorized dealer stores to unsubscribe Roam Like Home Monthly. Please note that there will not be any refund granted on unutilized Roam Like Home Monthly balance on termination at any point of time. The remaining Voice minutes and Internet quota will be forfeited with immediate effect. The monthly discount (if any) will stop from the month the subscription is cancelled.

31. I have unutilized Roam Like Home Monthly quota from current month. Will this quota be carried forward to the following month?

No. Roam Like Home Monthly monthly quota is only valid within the bill cycle month. Any unutilized balance from current bill cycle will not be carried forward to the following bill cycle. Your Roam Like Home Monthly monthly quota will be renewed only at the start of bill cycle.

32. How many times can I subscribe to Roam Like Home Monthly? Will I be able to repeat my subscription?

Roam Like Home Monthly is incorporated into your domestic plan. Only a one-time subscription is required.

33. My Roam Like Home Monthly quota is not exhausted yet, why am I still being charged at standard roaming rates?

Roam Like Home Monthly is valid for applicable roaming usages within the participating networks. Any usage use outside the participating network will be charged as per standard rate on top of the monthly fee. We recommend that you always check and ensure you are connected to the correct participating operator.

34. If I subscribe to Roam Like Home Monthly, does it cover all my roaming usages within the bill cycle?

Roam Like Home Monthly will be effective only after subscription. Any roaming usage before the subscription will be charged at standard roaming rates. For example, if your bill cycle is from 1st to 30th of the month and you have subscribed to Roam Like Home Monthly on the 15th of the month at 14:00pm, in this case, any of the roaming usage used between 1st to 15th 13:59 pm will be charged as per standard rates. Any roaming usage from 15th 14:00pm onwards will fall under Roam Like Home Monthly offers.

35. I have subscribed Roam Like Home Monthly. I would like to request to change my existing bill cycle date, what will happen to my unutilized Roam Like Home Monthly voice minutes and Internet quota?

Your Roam Like Home Monthly quota under the old bill cycle date will be forfeited. Your Roam Like Home Monthly quota will be renewed on the new bill cycle date. Changing of bill cycle date will amount to a un-subscription of the Roam Like Home Monthly. Any subscription or re-subscription of the Roam Like Home Monthly after 16th Jan 2017 will be subject to the applicable discount under this Roam Like Home Monthly.

36. Can I use Roam Like Home Monthly at all time after I have subscribed?

Each Roam Like Home Monthly has its validity and quota, as long as your line status is ‘Active’, then you will be able to use Roam Like Home throughout the validity within the participating country and network.

37. What happens if I connected to other network besides the participating operator network?

You will be charged with the applicable standard voice and internet roaming charges and rates.

38. Is Roam Like Home Monthly available for Digi Prepaid subscribers?

No. Roam Like Home Monthly is only available for selected Digi Postpaid subscriber.
