How to turn on/off Data Roaming

These steps may vary depending on the software version of your device

  • IOS Go to Settings > Mobile Data >
    Mobile Data Options >
    slide the "Data Roaming" ON/OFF
  • Android Go to Settings > Mobile networks > slide the "Data Roaming" ON/OFF
     
How to purchase/subscribe to Roaming Pass
BEFORE DEPARTURE:
Make sure you turn off Data Roaming or Cellular Data/Mobile Data on your mobile phone
UPON ARRIVAL:
Step

Dial *128*5*1*6#
Step
2
Press "2" to "Purchase Roaming Top Up"
Step
3
You'll receive a confirmation SMS to notify you of successful Roaming Pass purchase;

4
Manually select the specified/applicable network operator;
Step
5
Turn on Data Roaming or Cellular Data/Mobile Data on your mobile phone
How to check balance for my Roaming Pass

UMB: Dial *128*5*1*6#

  • Keep track of your Internet usage

    STEP 1
    Select 1 for Internet
    quota balance

  • Check your Prepaid credit balance and bill for Postpaid

    STEP 2
    Select 3 for voice
    minutes balance

  • Try FREE entertainment content

    STEP 3
    View your balance

    On usage page, select
    "View Details"

  • Check your Prepaid credit balance and bill for Postpaid

How to call/text while overseas
Once you're on roaming partner network, you can make calls or text by dialing
<00><country code><area/mobile code><telephone number>.
You can also make calls using Budget*111*Voice Call by dialling <*111*><00><country
code><area/mobile code><telephone number><#> to enjoy lower rates.
To call home (Malaysia), just dial <+60> followed by the phone number.
E.g. +60016 XXX XXXX for a Digi mobile number or +603 XXXX XXXX for a fixed line in Kuala Lumpur.
