1. What is BlackBerry® World Carrier Billing?

BlackBerry® World Carrier Billing allows you to purchase apps from BlackBerry® World using your Digi account. Postpaid customers can now charge their purchases to their monthly Postpaid bill whereas Prepaid customers can opt to have it deducted from their Prepaid credit.
Note: For Prepaid customers, please ensure that you have sufficient credit as the cost of the app will be deducted from your credit balance as soon as you confirm the purchase.

2. Where can I download BlackBerry® World?

BlackBerry® World comes pre-installed on all BlackBerry® devices that are running on BlackBerry® OS and BlackBerry® 10 OS. You should be able to find it from your device’s app launcher. You can also download or update BlackBerry® World by visiting from your BlackBerry® device or from a computer.

3. Is BlackBerry® World Carrier Billing supported by all BlackBerry® OS and BlackBerry® 10 versions?

BlackBerry® World Carrier Billing is supported by the following software versions:

4. Can I purchase BlackBerry® apps that are priced in foreign currency?

No, you can purchase BlackBerry® apps that are priced in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) only.

5. Do I have to register with Digi or BlackBerry® before I can use BlackBerry® World Carrier Billing?

No, you do not have to register with Digi or BlackBerry®. However, you may have to go to ‘Payment Options’ under your BlackBerry® World account and select “Bill through Digi Malaysia” if you have previously made a purchase via credit card or PayPal.
If you have never made a purchase at BlackBerry® World before, you will be automatically prompted to select Digi as your default payment option.

6. How do I know if I have been charged correctly?

An email detailing the charges made will be sent to the registered email address. If you are a Postpaid customer, the charges will also be reflected on your monthly bill.

7. Can I use BlackBerry® World Carrier Billing if I am on Wi-Fi?

If you are using this service to purchase an app for the first time, you must be on the Digi network for us to confirm that you are a Digi subscriber. Subsequent purchases can be made using Wi-Fi.

8. Where can I find the BlackBerry® apps that I have downloaded?

The apps that you have downloaded from BlackBerry® World can be found by going onto your BlackBerry® World home screen > My World.

9. Can I reinstall apps that I have purchased if I switch to a new BlackBerry® device?

Yes, you can. Just log in to the BlackBerry® World storefront using your existing BlackBerry® ID. You can reinstall apps that you have bought on up to four (4) additional devices each year without having to pay for them again. Apps that you have archived on a media card can also be reinstalled.
Note: Additional data charges may apply when reinstalling apps.

10. Why can’t I see all the apps for sale/download on BlackBerry® World when I am using my device?

Some apps that are featured on the desktop version of BlackBerry® World may not be listed on the mobile version – this is likely due to the fact that they are not compatible with the BlackBerry® device or software that you are using.

11. Can I buy/download apps that are found on the mobile BlackBerry® World storefront from somewhere else?

Yes, you can buy/download apps from the BlackBerry® World storefront on your computer. Depending on the company who created the app that you want, you might also be able to buy/download it from their website.

12. What’s the difference between app purchases and app subscriptions?

You may have to pay a recurring subscription fee in order to use some apps that you have downloaded for free, or even for additional apps or services that are found within apps that you have paid for. Subscriptions are normally renewed after every seven (7) or thirty (30) days, depending on the app provider.

13. I tried to log in to BlackBerry® World using my existing BlackBerry® ID, but all I got was an error message. What should I do?

Please wait a few moments or switch to a Wi-Fi network before trying again.

14. I need some help with an app that I have downloaded. Who can I contact?

Please contact the company who created the app to obtain support. In most cases, support information can be found on the app’s overview page. All you need to do is go to BlackBerry® World > My World, then click on the app in question. On the overview page, click on ‘Email Application Support’ to send them an email or ‘Visit Support Website’ to go to the app’s official website (if any).
