1. Where and when can I sign up for the new Digi Smart Plan?

You will be able to sign up for the new Digi Smart Plan at all Digi outlets, authorized dealers stores, and Digi Store Online starting from 1 October 2015. Limited time offer only!

2. How long is the promotion period?

The new Digi Smart Plan 25, Digi Smart Plan 45, Digi Smart Plan 65 and Digi Smart Plan 75 are only available for a limited time period only, until 29 February 2016.

3. Who can sign up for these new plans?

All MASS individuals can sign up inclusive of new registrations, Mobile Number Portability (MNP), DG Prepaid™ to DG Postpaid™ conversion, and change of plan from a non-contractual plan.

4. I am currently subscribed to another mobile operator. Can I switch over to Digi and subscribe to this new Digi Smart Plan?

Yes, you can. Visit the nearest Digi outlet today.

5. I am a DG Prepaid™ customer. Can I subscribe to the new Digi Smart Plan without changing my number?

Yes, you can switch from DG Prepaid™ to the new Digi Smart Plan without changing your number.

6. If I convert my DG PrepaidTM to the new Digi Smart Plan, will my prepaid credit be carried forward?

Yes, your prepaid credit (up to max RM 100) will be carried forward and used to cover your coming months’ bills.

7. Can I use my DG Prepaid™ credit to cover the Upfront Payment for the new Digi Smart Plan?

No, you can’t. However, your upfront payment together with the Prepaid credit that you have carried forward will be used to cover/pay for your coming months’ bills.

9. What happens when I exceed my monthly Mobile Internet Quota? Will I be charged for extra usage?

No, you will not be charged extra when you exceed your monthly Mobile Internet Quota. Your data service will be restricted until the next billing cycle. However, you can opt for Postpaid Internet Quota Top-Up to continue surfing the Internet at regular speed, subject to the relevant terms and conditions.

10. There are no bundled minutes and SMS under Digi Smart Plan 25. How will I be charged if I make calls and send SMS?

For all Digi Smart Plan 25 subscribers, all calls will be charged at 20sen/min and all SMS will be charged at 15sen/SMS on top of the monthly fee on a Pay-As-You-Use basis.

11. There are no bundled SMS under Digi Smart Plan 45, Digi Smart Plan 65 and Digi Smart Plan 75. How will I be charged if I send SMS?

For all Digi Smart Plan 45, Digi Smart Plan 65 and Digi Smart Plan 75 subscribers, all SMS will be charged at 10sen/SMS on top of the monthly fee on a Pay-As-You-Use basis.

12. How does the ‘Unlimited Calls’ under Digi Smart Plan 65 More Calls & SMS and Digi Smart Plan 75 work?

Every day you get to enjoy Unlimited voice calls to both on-net and off-net numbers i.e. all mobile calls and SMS to Digi or other mobile operators including fixed lines (excludes video calls, special numbers and toll-free 1-300/1-800 number calls). The Unlimited calls are applicable for domestic usage only i.e. within Malaysia network.

13. Do I get to enjoy Free Music Freedom?

All sign ups on Digi Smart Plan 25, Digi Smart Plan 45, Digi Smart Plan 65 and Digi Smart Plan 75 will get to enjoy Music Freedom on a 120days free trial.

14. How can I enjoy Free Capture storage?

All sign ups on Digi Smart Plan 25, Digi Smart Plan 45, Digi Smart Plan 65 and Digi Smart Plan 75 will be entitled to enjoy Free Capture storage.

15. Can I sign up for the new Digi Smart Plan on a device bundle contract?

No, device bundle contract is not applicable with the new Digi Smart Plan 25, Digi Smart Plan 45, Digi Smart Plan 65 and Digi Smart Plan 75. These plans are only available for plan-only sign up.

16. Can I register for supplementary lines under the new Digi Smart Plan?

You can register up to maximum 6 supplementary lines under Digi Smart Plan 45, Digi Smart Plan 65 and Digi Smart Plan 75. You can register your supplementary lines via DG Smart Family Plan or DG Family Postpaid. For Digi Smart Plan 25, you are not applicable to register for supplementary lines.

17. If I switch to this new Digi Smart Plan from DG Smart Plan 78/108/148, will my calls and SMS to my supplementary lines still be free?

Yes, your calls and SMS to your supplementary lines will still be free.

18. Will I earn BonusLink points when I pay my monthly Digi Smart Plan payments?

BonusLink points will not be offered to the new Digi Smart Plan 25, Digi Smart Plan 45, Digi Smart Plan 65 and Digi Smart Plan 75.

19. What are the special rates for voice calls made to selected numbers?

7. How do I set up my Friends?

8. Is there a charge to set up my Friends?

It is free to set up the first 3 Friends. Any changes subsequently will be charged at RM5 for each change.

2. How does Unlimited messaging with WhatsApp and WeChat work?

Even after you have exceeded your Monthly Mobile Internet Quota, you will get to continue messaging unlimitedly with WhatsApp or WeChat at regular speed.

3. I have finished my monthly allocated Mobile Internet Quota. Can I then download WhatsApp or WeChat to continue messaging?

You are advised to download the WhatsApp/WeChat application before your Mobile Internet Quota depletes. You will not be able to download the WhatsApp/WeChat application once you have exceeded your monthly Mobile Internet Quota. Other option available is to purchase a Postpaid Internet Quota Top Up.

4. In what scenario will my access to WhatsApp/WeChat application use up any of my Mobile Internet Quota?

You will use up some of your Mobile Internet Quota if you:
d) Download WhatsApp/WeChat application from the application store (e.g. Google Play, App Store) will incur data usage from the Mobile Internet Quota.
e) Click on any external link that will lead you out of WhatsApp/WeChat application
f) Use all other application beyond the WhatsApp/WeChat application

5. I am an iPhone user. Will I be charged if I download WhatsApp from the App Store?

Yes, you will be charged based on the amount stipulated on the app download page if you download WhatsApp from the App Store.

1. What is Capture?

Capture is storage service that backups your photos & videos from your phone either through WiFi and / or cellular data. You can also share your photos privately to another user and create Stories through an album.

2. How do I enjoy Free Capture?

All sign ups on Digi Postpaid plans are entitled to enjoy free storage on Capture.

3. How many GB of storage on Capture am I eligible to get?

All users will be given a base storage of 2GB for free. For all Digi Smart Plan subscribers, you are eligible to receive extra storage on top of the standard 2GB free base storage.

Just send the keyword “CAPTURE” to 20000 via SMS and you will receive instructions on how to activate your extra storage.

5. Is there an expiry to my extra storage received?

Your extra storage received as a promotion will expire on 30 April 2017.

6. The extra storage will expire on 30th April 2017. What happens after that?

You will still be able to see your photos and videos in Capture, but no longer able to upload new ones.

6. When must I redeem the 12 months full access to iflix by?

Upon successful sign up of rate plan, you have to redeem within 7 days in order to enjoy 12 months full access to iflix. First come, first serve basis. While stocks last!

7. Can I unsubscribe to this service before the 12months full access ends?

Yes, you are able to do that through your account settings at iflix website.

8. The full access to iflix will expire after 12 months. What happens after that?

You will be automatically signed up on the monthly paid subscription at RM10 a month. Prior to the expiry of your 12 months full access, you will receive a reminder via SMS before being charged.

9. I do not want to subscribe to the monthly paid subscription. Can I unsubscribe?

Yes, you are able to do that through your account settings at iflix website.

No, all unused Internet quota under Internet Top Up cannot be carried forward nor transferred. Your unused Internet quota may be forfeited at the end of your current billing cycle, depend on the Internet Top Ups that you purchased.

6. How many Internet Top Ups can I purchase in a month?

You may purchase as many Internet Top Ups as you want in a month. However, please note that you may hit your monthly credit limit, and that any unused Internet quota will be forfeited at the end of the billing cycle.

7. How do I check the balance of my Internet quota?

8. How long will it take for my Internet Top Up to activate?

You should settle your outstanding bills before you purchase an Internet Top Up.

10. I have not exhausted my allocated monthly Internet quota, but I have purchased an Internet Top Up. Which quota will be consumed first?

Your Internet Top Up quota will be consumed first. After that, the balance of your allocated monthly Internet quota will be consumed.

11. Can I use Internet Top Up while roaming?

No, you cannot use Internet Top Up while roaming.
