1. Who can redeem this 1GB Welcome Gift?

All Digi Postpaid and Digi Broadband plan subscribers that update or install the new MyDigi app are eligible to redeem this 1GB Welcome Gift, including Digi Enterprise Corporate customers and Corporate Individual customers.

2. I am a Digi Prepaid voice plan subscriber, can I receive this 1GB Welcome Gift?

No, prepaid voice plan subscribers are not eligible to receive this 1GB Welcome Gift.

3. Can I use this 1GB Welcome Gift with any Internet Plans?

Yes, you can. Note that the 1GB Welcome Gift Internet quota will be utilized first before it is deducted from your Internet Plan.

4. Can I receive this 1GB Welcome Gift if I am a ‘Pay As You Use’ customer?

Yes, you will receive the free 1GB Welcome Gift but Internet charges will apply once you have utilized the free 1GB Welcome Gift. Kindly check your Internet balance from time to time to avoid extra Internet charges.

5. If I am a Digi Broadband customer under stream free plan, why will MyDigi deduct my free 1GB since I already have stream free Internet quota?

For broadband users under stream free plans, the 1GB Welcome Gift Internet quota will be utilized first before quota is deducted from your existing Internet plan.

6. Upon receiving notification on my 1GB Welcome Gift, how long am I given to redeem it?

You will need to redeem the 1GB Welcome Gift via MyDigi app within 7 days. Just go to Add-ons > Freebies to redeem.

7. Will I get granted another 1GB Welcome Gift if I missed the 7 days redemption period?

No, there will be no re-granting of 1GB Welcome Gift if you have missed the 7 days redemption period.

8. How do I check if my 1GB Welcome Gift is already in my Internet quota?

To check, please go to MyDigi app > Internet (Swipe left once on usage screen) and click on ‘View Details’ to view more info.

9. When does the validity of my 1GB internet expire?

Validity expires 7 days after time of redemption.

10. If I un-install and re-install the new MyDigi app, can I still get the 1GB Welcome Gift?

No, you will not be able to receive the 1GB Welcome Gift again because you have registered your phone number with MyDigi.

11. I have signed up to MyDigi via digi.com.my, am I eligible for the 1GB Welcome Gift?

No, the 1GB Welcome Gift is available only via MyDigi app, and it is not available on MyDigi web nor UMB.

12. Do I need an Internet plan to receive the 1GB Welcome Gift?

No, no prior Internet plan is required to redeem the 1GB Welcome Gift.

13. Where can I download the new MyDigi app?

You can go to Play store / App store and search for ‘MyDigi’ to download.

14. Why am I facing difficulties loading the app?

2. As a referrer, what channels/apps can I use to send my invitation code?

This is dependent on what apps you have installed on your phone.

3. Can I manually invite my friend by only giving them the code I have from the Invite & Earn tab? (Without clicking on Send Invite)

Yes, you can share your code without clicking Send Invite in the app to invite. Referee will just have to key in your code when download the MyDigi app.

4. Who can receive the voucher?

The voucher will be available for both the referrer and referee when the referee logs into the MyDigi app for the first time and inputs the referrer’s code.

5. Is there a maximum number of people that I can invite to MyDigi app?

No, you may invite as many people as you can.

6. Can I receive more than 1 voucher?

Yes you can. The more people you successfully invite, the more vouchers you can get (*while stocks last). However, you will only receive a voucher if the referee logs into MyDigi for the first time and uses your code.

7. As a referrer, how will I know when my referee uses my code?

You will receive a push notification as well as an in-app notification to inform you that your friend has joined MyDigi. Click on the push notification to enter MyDigi > click on Notification icon > Click on in-app message to redeem.

8. Why can’t I see the in-app notification message to input the code/ redeem my voucher?

The in-app notification message only lasts for:
  • a) For referrer – Does not expire (If you have mistakenly removed this message, refresh home screen to see the message again)
  • b) For referee – 7 days after logging into MyDigi app

You can get the app by searching for MyDigi in PlayStore or AppStore.

4. Will I receive a badge if I reload for others using PIN method?

No you will not, you will only receive a badge if you reload for others using Online method.

5. How do I know how many badges I currently have?

To view your badges, click on Menu icon > MyDigi Rewards > MyBadges.

From the usage screen, click on Menu icon > MyDigi Rewards > MyRewards.

7. I received an error message after collecting 5 badges, what does it mean and how can I receive my voucher?

It indicates that manual redemption is required. To do manual redemption, click on Menu icon > MyDigi Rewards > MyBadges > click on Present icon under Digi Share Reload Badges.

8. Who will receive the free credit from reloading?

Only the person on the receiving end of the reload will receive the free credit that is proportionate to the reload amount.
